土耳其反垄断监管机构（Rekabet Kurumu）对17家轮胎生产和分销公司展开调查。之前有报道称，调查对象包括Brisa（与Bridgestone和Sabanci Holding合作）的公司，最近又有消息称，其他生产商如Goodyear、Hankook、Michelin、Pirelli和Prometeon，以及一些本地贸易公司，也被怀疑违反了土耳其法律。

根据反垄断机构的说法，已经进行了初步审查，根据审查结果决定展开全面调查。监管机构将检查轮胎市场参与者是否违反了法律，包括创建卡特尔、控制市场供应以及其他限制竞争的行为。
